At One Iron Auctioneers LLC., one of our objectives is to provide you with clear, straightforward information on our processes. We want to make the auction buying process as hassle free for you as possible. All of our auctions are open to the public. We can assist with the logistics of moving your items to our Auction facility, or we can hold an auction at your facility.
One Iron Auctioneers, LLC. Bidder Registration Requirements
- Please have a valid driver’s license, passport, or government identification card. All bidders must be over 18 years of age to register to bid in an auction.
- Dealers must bring a copy of their dealer’s license and/or tax exemption certificate for sales tax to be waived.
- If you are buying for export outside the United States, you must provide a Bill of Lading from a common carrier before the sales tax will be waived. Purchases made at a One Iron Auctioneers, LLC. auction will not be released until the document is received or sales tax is paid on the purchases.
- You are required to register to bid, and you must provide a valid credit card to be approved for online bidding. Auctioneer may make a nominal charge or place a temporary hold against your credit card for verification purposes and may charge your credit card for your purchases.
- One Iron Auctioneers, LLC. may require you to present a Bank Letter of Credit or other proof of available funds. This is REQUIRED if you are bidding outside of the United States of America.
- By registering to bid, you represent you are otherwise legally able to enter into a contract. Each entity (i.e., corporation, limited liability company, or other organization) registering to bid represents that it has the power and authority to register, to bid, and to complete the purchase transaction if it is the Winning Bidder. If bids are made by or on behalf of an entity, the entity and any individual making the bid will be jointly and severally liable on account of the bid.
One Iron Auctioneers, LLC. Bidding Requirements:
- All bidders are required to register and obtain a Bidder Number.
- While completing the registration process, make sure you understand the unique terms and conditions that apply to the absolute or public auction you are attending.
- You represent and warrant that all information provided with respect to your bidder registration will be true and accurate; acknowledge and agree that you may be banned from participation in the Auction, and from participation in future Auctions conducted by One Iron Auctioneers, LLC. if you provide any false information.
- You acknowledge and agree that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by, these Bidder Terms and Conditions, any and all other terms and conditions posted at the Auction Site or on Auctioneer website(s), and the terms and conditions posted on the websites of any Online Auction Platform Provider(s) used by Auctioneer.
- Once the auction has begun and the bidding is taking place – if you are unsure of the amount the auctioneer is asking – feel free to ask any of the One Iron Auctioneers, LLC. staff to clarify.
- Inspection; Photographs and Images; Due Diligence – By bidding, you acknowledge and agree that you have had a full and fair opportunity to inspect the Lot(s), and that you are relying solely on your inspection and investigation, or that you have waived inspection and investigation, and that you have not relied on any statement, representation, warranty, or guarantee made by Auctioneer, or by Seller, or by anyone acting as agent or representative of Seller; provided, however, that if a pre-auction inspection is not available due to social distancing restrictions or otherwise, you acknowledge and agree that (i) you are knowingly and willing bidding without a pre-auction inspection, (ii) you are not relying on any representations or warranties by auctioneer or seller, and (iii) you are assuming any and all risks associated with your purchase of the Lot(s) without a pre-auction inspection. You, further, acknowledge and agree that any photographs or other images of Lot(s) are adequate for your purposes. You further acknowledge and agree that you have had a full and fair opportunity to ask questions and to conduct any and all due diligence that you deem to be necessary or appropriate, and that the responses you have received, if any, are adequate for your purposes.
- Description of Lots – Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, any description pf a lot is based solely on the visual impression, and is given solely for identification purposes, and does not create any warranty, expressed or implied, or representation by the Auctioneer or Seller.
One Iron Auctioneers, LLC. Payment Information:
- One Iron Auctioneers, LLC. requires all purchases invoices be paid in full within 3 business days of the closing of the Auction. All payments associated with the Auction are in U.S. Dollars.
- We accept cash, business or personal checks (with bank letter of guarantee), certified checks, and wire transfers.
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. There will be a 3% fee applied to invoices paid with a credit card. Wire transfers incur a $10 fee.
- All payments are to be made to One Iron Auctioneers, LLC.
- Sales tax will be collected unless an exemption applies, all purchases are subject to Pennsylvania sales tax, and sales tax will be calculated based on the Contract Price (i.e., the Hammer Price plus the Buyer’s Premium). If the taxing authority form a jurisdiction other the jurisdiction in which the Auction occurred and where delivery was made (as described in these Bidder Terms and Conditions), including, without being limited to, the jurisdiction in which you reside, conduct business, or will maintain the Lot(s) purchased by you, requires the collection and remittance of sales tax, use tax, or a similar tax, you will be responsible for payment of an amount equal to such tax, and you agree to indemnify Auctioneer and hold Auctioneer harmless with respect to the same. If it is determined that sales tax is collected and paid to the wrong taxing authority, we will cooperate in efforts to obtain a refund of such tax and its remittance to the proper taxing authority.
- Failure to Pay – If you fail to pay for your purchase(s) within the time provided under these Bidder Terms and Conditions, you will be deemed to have abandoned any interest in the Lot(s), but you will remain liable for payment of the Contract Price. Unpaid Lot(s) may be retained by Seller, resold at a subsequent auction, or otherwise disposed of. If unpaid Lot(s) are sold at a subsequent auction, you will be liable for any shortfall or deficiency on the resale of the Lot(s), plus the costs incurred in connection with reselling the Lot(s). Under no circumstances will you be entitled to any surplus from the resale of any unpaid Lot(s). Auctioneer and/or Seller may, at any time, commence a lawsuit against you for the Contract Price of any unpaid Lot(s) and/or for any deficiency realized on the resale of such Lot(s).
One Iron Auctioneers, LLC. Title Information
- Customers will receive titles via USPS (with tracking) within 14 days of funds clearing the bank.
- All buyers paying with cash or cash equivalent will in some cases receive the title on day of auction.
- $50 Documentation fee is charged to each titled item.

- INSPECTION & PREVIEW DAYS: Wednesday – Friday prior to the Auction through Auction Day.
- TERMS & CONDITIONS: Please see each auction’s terms & conditions page, as buyers premium may change per auction. Buyers Premium is paid by the buyer. Online Bidders pay an additional 3% internet fee.
- Documentation fee of $50 is charged to each titled item.
- Credit cards (Visa/Mastercard/Discover/American Express) are accepted. THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF 3% ADDED TO THE INVOICES PAID BY CREDIT CARD. THERE IS A $10 WIRE TRANSFER FEE.
- All items must be removed by date announced at the beginning of the auction or stated on your invoice.
- Storage fees are up to $50 PER DAY PER ITEM and may apply after this date.
- TECHNOLOGY DISRUPTIONS: You acknowledge and agree that the Auction is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. Auctioneer will not be responsible for, and will suffer no liability for, technology disruptions, errors, or failures (including disruptions to bidding or the failure to execute, recognize, or record online bids), whether caused by (i) loss of connectivity, breakdown, disruption, or failure of the Online Auction Platform(s), (ii) breakdown, disruption, or failure of a Bidder’s internet connection, computer, or system, or (iii) otherwise. Auctioneer may, but will not be required to, continue, suspend, delay, extend, reschedule, or close the Auction because of disruptions caused by technology failures, even after bidding has commenced.
- FAILURE TO PICK UP OR REMOVE; ABANDONMENT: If you are the Winning Bidder on any Lot(s), and, after paying the Contract Price for such Lot(s), YOU fail to pick-up or remove such Lot(s) within 21 days after the Auction, you will be deemed to have abandoned such Lot(s), and any interest therein, to One Iron Auctioneers, LLC., and you will give up any and all rights with respect to such Lot(s). Lots that have been abandoned to One Iron Auctioneers, LLC may be retained by the Auctioneer, sold at a subsequent auction, or otherwise disposed of. YOU will not be entitled to any proceeds from the sale of any abandoned Lot(s).
- PAYMENT PROCEDURES: Payment is required in full BEFORE your items will be released. If payments are made by personal or company check, you must have a current letter to One Iron Auctioneers, LLC. guaranteeing payment of check.
- Payment not made as described above will be subject to late fees, penalties and interest plus expenses related to collection cost. Any balance due the day after the final removal date noted on the invoice will be paid by purchaser at a rate of 18% per annum. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- ALL NEW INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS ARE REQUIRED TO DEPOSIT $10,000 USD PRIOR TO AUCTION. ALL NEW DOMESTIC BIDDERS ARE REQUIRED TO DEPOSIT $5,000 USD PRIOR
- ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS.

- Announcements made on auction day by auctioneer take precedence over all printed material and advertising. In some cases, items advertised in printed materials and online may have to be removed from the auction.
- Buyer premiums are subject to change from auction to auction. Please consult individual auction catalogs.
